Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings

Now, be sure to leave some love at all the stops along the way. Your comments are most appreciated!

At the end of the hop, comment on this post answering the question below for a chance to win our January Ribbon Club assortment and the extra goodies shown below.

Our question of the month is:
What is your favorite color or favorite color combination?

Emerald is the color of the year for 2013.  Emerald?? Really??  I just don't see that as a terribly popular color (at least with crafters).  I have nothing against it - it's even my birthstone, but I really just don't see all that many people buying emerald.  Who makes these decisions?  So let me know what colors you like to use.  It will help me as I decide which new ribbons to bring in this year.

Our winner will be selected from the numbered comments on this post on Friday, 1/18 using random.org. Be sure to check back on Friday evening to see if you are our lucky winner.

Thanks so much for hopping with us today. We hope you'll stop by and so some shopping at Really Reasonable Ribbon soon.

  4. I've always loved purple (which looks great with green)! But combinations of blue or pink with brown/kraft has been a crafting favourite of mine.

  7. Ooh look at all that pink love in the comments! Pinks and black or grays -- and second is kraft with aqua/sea colors.

  8. I love earth tones ... from off-white and beige, through many hues of brown (gingerbread and chocolate being my faves), to bronze and copper.

  9. I find I use soft pink, lavender, and blues especially for spring. Shaded ribbons pick up many colors in images. Also the bias ribbon colors are terrific especially for masculine cards. I just like RRR heaps because suits my taste an budget, all the time.

  10. Just finished the hop--wonderful inspiration from the dt. I seem to use a lot of pink although my favorite colors are teal and red. I never have enough types/styles of ribbon in white and beige.

  11. Loved the hop. You've got a very talented team. :) My favourite colour combo is probably black and silver, but I love reds and blues, and right now I seem to be using purples a lot (different shades, coordinated with each other).

  13. I'm a blue person -- any shade will do.

  14. Right now I really love purple. A nice deep shade combined with a deep chocolate brown.

  15. Creatively I always veered towards creams and browns, going for the vintage look but lately, I don't know if it's just the season or what, I seem to have acquired a new love for pinks! If anyone told me I'd be saying that at any point in my life I wouldn't have believed it, I was never a pink girl, but it's true! Must be getting soft in my old age! LOL

  20. Love jewel tones of any color, pastels, not so much. If I had to pick a favorite it would be red, a rich deep red with a touch of blue in it but not an orangey red.

  21. Blue and purple are my favorite colors, and I tend to gravitate toward them a lot. I have to remind myself sometimes that there are other colors in the world...lol!

  22. I love white, especially if I can color it to match my project. As for colors, I love light pastels like yellow, orange and pink.

  28. My favorite color combo is coral and light turquoise, or rose and blue. I use a lot of blue it seems. I think they are wrong about emerald being the color this year. I very seldom see it on any cards or layouts. I just finished the hop. It was terrific! I loved seeing all the projects everyone made. Thanks for sharing. Edwina Brown

  37. I don't do many blog hops, but I wasn't about to miss yours. I pretty much love all things RRR. :) Your ribbons are gorgeous (I'm thiiis close to joining the ROM club), and your DT is always inspirational. Emerald, huh? Personally I love that color, but it IS difficult to put into a card more than just a tiny bit. Red is my true favorite color, but right now my favorite papercraft color is aqua, such as SU's Pool Party. It goes with so many colors, red being a perfect companion. Thanks for a great website!!

  38. I did this already in the beginning of the hop. But to be on the safe side I'll post my colors again. Raspberry, Purple, and Electric Blue. Loved the Hop! Great stuff!
